Method of generator water pump maintenance

In the generator equipment in long-term use, must not ignore the cooling work. This is a very important step to ensure the service life of the device.

1, check the pump body and the belt pulley has no wear and damage, should be replaced when necessary. Check the pump shaft, the shaft neck wear degree without bending, axial end threads for damage. Check the impeller blades on the crushing, no shaft hole wear is serious. Check the seal wear degree and bakelite washer, if more than the limit of use should be replaced with new parts. Check the bearing wear, gap available surface measurement of bearing, such as more than 0.10mm, should be replaced with new bearings.

2, check the water pump bearing rotating flexible or abnormal noise, such as a description of bearing has a problem, should be replaced.

3, pump out, sequential decomposition. After the decomposition of the parts shall be cleaned, and then check them one by one, to see whether there are cracks, damage and wear, if there are serious defects should be replaced.

4, in the pump body has the following injury to allow repair welding: length within 30mm, do not extend to crack the bearing seat hole; a breaking part and a flange joint cylinder cover oil seal seat hole damage. The water pump shaft bending shall not exceed 0.05mm, or should be replaced. Impeller blade damaged should be replaced. Pump shaft aperture worn should be replaced or bushing repair.

Repair 5, seal and water seal seat: such as wear groove, emery cloth grinding available, such as too much wear should be replaced; seal seat if coarse scratches, usable surface reamer or repairs on the lathe. In the overhaul should be replaced with new seal assembly.

6, the pump after assembly, the pump shaft with a twist of the hand, should have no card, impeller and pump shell should be no rub impact. Then check the pump displacement, if any problem, should examine the causes and elimination. If the pump fails, the coolant will arrive at the corresponding place cannot, its performance is not effectively play I, and ultimately affect the working condition. Therefore, must strengthen to the pump inspection work.
